The Valley

“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff, they comfort me.

Psalm 23:4

There will be a valley.

You will go through it. He never said you wouldn’t. When you go through it, the enemy wants you to see it as permanent darkness, making it seem as though your Keeper is not with you.

But even though you go through what seems like no way out… that’s okay.

Even though it may not seem like the sun is shining, understand that it’s just a shadow.

For a shadow to be present, there has to be some type of light to produce it.

You are just going through a season.

Sometimes you have to go through a season of lack so you can see how He can provide.

If we could look past the darkness and understand that light is still there, and it’s just a season, then we can change our perspective.

He is still with you. Just like when a cloud blocks the sun, it produces a shadow. The cloud soon passes, and the sun shines again.
